The Evoluent Vertical Mouse allows the user to maintain a more natural "handshake" grip. This position is exactly like a standard mouse, just turned vertically, which eliminates virtually all risk factors associated with the use of traditional mousing devices. The high resolution infrared sensor allows for superior performance on a wide range of surfaces and six programmable buttons with a familiar grip reduce the transition time from a traditional mouse.

This is simply the best mouse ever ... and once you try it, you will NEVER go back.
Also, one very nice feature is you can program the speed as well.

I LOVE this mouse! It has really helped with my arm and shoulder problems because my arm is at a more normal position. Plus, I have larger hands and have always had a difficult time using standard mice. They cause my hand to crumple up to hold them. This mouse fits my hand perfectly. But I also think it would be fine for someone with smaller hands. I also see that they have a smaller version now.

I loved using it at home, so I bought one for work and have never regretted it. The newest model has a nice assortment of buttons that are conveniently arranged and quite programmable using the included software. It also looks really cool!

Definitely the best mouse I have ever used.
