Okay so can I return a product if I don’t like it?
We take returns on seating and desks but aren’t able to take returns on ergo tools like monitor arms, keyboard trays, etc. For specifics on our returns please see our return policy.

When will my desk ship? How long will it take to get to me?
We work with a select group of desk manufacturers, each with slightly different shipping schedules and procedures. Please refer to the list below for standard lead times, and allow an additional 3-5 days for your desk to make its way from us to you.
Jarvis frames will ship in 1 - 2 business days directly from our warehouse
All bamboo Jarvis tops ship in 1 - 2 business days from our warehouse
Most laminate tops are made-to-order, and ship separately in about 3 - 5 business days. Special order tops take longer.
Jarvis frames and bamboo tops ship standard ground. Orders of three or more laminate tops will ship freight.

AD Series: Most configurations ship in 10 - 12 business days via freight carrier.
Float Tables: ship directly from Humanscale in about three weeks, typically via UPS freight.
Focal Locus desks: ship in 3 - 5 business days via FedEx / UPS ground.
LifeSpan desks: ship in 3 - 5 business days, typically by freight carrier.
What on earth is a curbside freight delivery?
Most AD series desks ship via freight carrier, as do Jarvis laminate tops greater than 48" wide. For more information on how Jarvis, Float, or other desk options ship please give us a call.
Unlike a standard ground delivery, freight deliveries require an adult to be present to inspect and sign for the delivery. When your desk leaves the warehouse we will send you information on scheduling the desk delivery with the freight company. The driver will take the boxes off the truck and the recipient is responsible for bringing the boxes inside.
How much assembly is required?
Moderate assembly is required. The process is slightly different for each manufacturer and model.
Jarvis is the simplest assembly for desks. The frame assembly is straightforward and the top comes with pre-drilled holes making it very easy to mount.
The basic process for AD Series desks is attaching the driveshaft and crossbar to each leg, attaching the top to the frame of the desk, and connecting and mounting the electrical components.
How do I mount the top?
Jarvis tops ship with pre-drilled holes and self-tapping wood screws. Attaching the table to the frame is very straightforward.
AD Series desks also ship with self-tapping wood screws. We recommend positioning most table tops with more overhang towards the front of the desk, leaving 5" of overhang in the back.
How do the desks adjust?
Most of our desks are electric and move with the simple push of a button.

Can I use my own top?
Totally. Just pick “no top, frame only” in the drop down menus. Send us a picture when you’re all set up and we’ll send out a Tweet and everyone on the internet will be jealous of your awesome custom setup.
Which desk should I pick?
Well, that really depends on your needs.
Start with Jarvis chances are it will meet your needs. With more frame colors and top finishes Jarvis features a ton of popular options.
If surface area is the most important feature of your adjustable-height desk, you'll want to check out our corner desk options.
On the other end of the spectrum, if space is at a premium and you are looking for something smaller, check out our single-column desk options.
Humanscale's Float table is unlike any other desk on the market featuring a counterbalance mechanism with incredibly easy and smooth adjustment.

Is there a warranty on the desks?
Jarvis has an all-inclusive 7 year warranty on all frame components.
Our AD series desks come with a two-year warranty on the motor and five-year warranty on the frame.
Float features 5 year full warranty.
Focal has a lifetime on the frame (http://www.focaluprightfurniture.com/focal-limited-lifetime-warranty/), 5 years on seating products, and 10 years on table tops.
How long will it take to get my chair?
We have a wide selection of chairs ready to ship in 1-2 business days from our warehouse. In-stock chairs include Muvman, several Varier kneeling chair models, HAG Capisco, Bambach, and Salli saddle seats. Humanscale chairs ship in 8 - 10 business days. Special order HAG and Varier chairs vary in lead-times. Give us a call for specifics on your particular configuration.

Can I send you a purchase order?
Yep, we accept purchase orders from health care facilities, universities, most government agencies, and clients we’ve worked with in the past. If you’re unsure whether we will accept your PO just give us a call.
What should I include on my PO?
Please make sure a contact person, phone number, and email address are included in addition to the standard billing and shipping information including an AP contact. Please go through the drop down menus on our product pages and send over the specification for each option.
