The most advanced LED task lamp in the world:

The Element 790 light with dimmer by Humanscale

Ships in about 8-12 business days.

The Humanscale Element 790 light is among the most efficient and environmentally friendly LED task lights ever developed. The Element 790 light is the first task light to meet all of the Department of Energy's criteria for an LED task light. Thanks to the advanced MCX LED technology, the Element produces the equivalent illumination of a 90W incandescent bulb while drawing only 7W of electricity. The new Element 790 also features a dimmer control with seven levels of light output.

T60,000 hours - the life span of the Element LED. That's the equivalent of 30 years of use in a standard office environment! And, if needed, the LED assembly can easily be replaced to further extend the life of the light.

To make Mother Earth smile the Element 790 LED light is constructed of 81% recycled content. The components are also 99% recyclable and it is shipped in 70% recycled packaging. The Humanscale Element light can help any project achieve a number of LEED-CI, -NC, and -EB credits.

Element 790 is worth every penny! October 13, 2011
Reviewer: Mildred from Portland, OR
Ok, yes this light is not inexpensive, but now that I've used it for a while, I could not be happier with it.  I work from home in cloudy Portland, OR, so a good task lamp is pretty important for me.  I have a much older LED light (not humanscale) and it has this weird blue light that was not  at all pleasing to the eye.  This is definitely not the case with the Element.  I also love the dimmer with the "night light" feature.  At it's lowest setting it only consumes 1 watt I think.  Anyway, just my two cents about the light.
