The motion and counter-balanced geometry of Interstuhl's Mitos chair is a sitting experience unlike that of any office chair.  The large opening angle and ingenius range of movement of the revolutionary "transmotion" mechanism are at the heart of the Mitos.  As you move back in the chair, gliding on the same bearings used in in-line skates, the lumbar and thoracic areas of your back are embraced with exceptional comfort and support.  Your lumbar area is essentially being massaged, allowing the synovial fluids in the spine to move, preventing joint and muscle stiffness and fatigue.
