You’ll remember this moment.

You’ll start to think about life and work in terms of "Before Jarvis" and "After Jarvis."

But the thing you don’t yet realize is that Jarvis isn’t just about movement, Jarvis is a movement.

The centerpiece of your new modern work space, the Jarvis standing desk was conceived and designed to be the first step on your journey to a more active office.

Ergonomics has grown up in the past few years, thanks in no small part to Jarvis and other active office tools. A tape measurer and ergonomic assessment aren’t going to help you work and feel better; working in a more natural way is what makes the difference. We know this from experience. Starting years ago as the “healthy sitting experts,” Ergo Depot found products like the HAG Capisco, Variable Balans, and Swopper Saddle Seat to make hours sitting at a fixed-height desk more tolerable. These chairs are still some of our favorites, and newer offerings like the Capisco Puls pair exceptionally well with a Jarvis adjustable-height desk.

The thing is, no matter what chair you’re in, the human body was meant to move; we crave it.

And no, sitting probably won't actually kill you. But if you do want to stand, we can help. And if you want to sit, we can make sure you're doing it right. That’s our thing: we've got your back.

Jarvis is a sit-stand desk, the single best tool in your arsenal against static working. With the push of a button, Jarvis quickly and stably moves between sitting and standing heights, plus everything in between. This freedom to move throughout the day is revolutionary, and Jarvis is leading the charge.

Nice product November 20, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Ottawa, Canada
I've had recurring back pain from sitting for long hours every day and decided it would be worth my future health to make an adjustment. I opted to purchase the Jarvis desk frame only since I live in Canada and that's the only option. Assembly of the frame took about an hour, though I was very meticulous about getting it centered on the table top before drilling.

For $35 I was able to find a used 6'x3' table top from some old business furniture. This large table top is at the upper end of what the Jarvis can handle and it's apparent when the frame is set to near-maximum height - there is some lateral wobble and one of the desk legs creaks. It's hard to say whether it will become a problem in the long run.

Overall, the frame appears to be good quality.

A warning to Canadian buyers: it cost $141 USD to ship this to Ottawa and I later received a $100 CAD invoice from FedEx for the HST and an "Advancement Fee".  Ergodepot does not inform you about these prior to purchasing!

Should have bought earlier October 30, 2015
Reviewer: RyanE from Richmond,CA
I got my new Jarvis last night. It assembled easily in about 30 minutes. Way easier than any IKEA furniture. Be careful that you can fit the finished table through your door frame though! I had to attach the top in the room I was going to use it in.

It had been awhile since I looked at ergonomic desks. My last was a $2500 Biomorph Multi; a behemoth that was broken and not adjustable. The Jarvis feels like a steal at this price. If you are in the computer industry, you simply cannot afford to have crappy equipment. Do not wait until you start feeling the symptoms of RSI and wrist pain to begin making changes. It might be too late. The Jarvis easily lifts 3 monitors, speakers, and 2 heavy monitor arms. The whole desk is very stable. The finish on the bamboo is beautiful. Very, very happy with this purchase. Only downside is now I am obsessed with getting a Hag chair to pair with it, another $900!

Great desk and fantastic customer support October 8, 2015
Reviewer: Anonymous Person from California
Amazed how much a difference a variable height work surface made in my work. No more mid-day slouch.  I can now do a solid 9 hours and feel noticeably better at the end of the day.

The desk is solid and the laminate looks and feels great. Bought their monitor arm to hold a 27” monitor and a CPU holder for a 30# CPU. The monitor arm is a bit finicky; taking a bit of tugging to set, but it’s solid once positioned. Love the CPU holder. With the desk at the highest position one easily get to the back of the computer.

I did have a problem, after about a month the desk failed to lift. Lauren in Customer Service helped troubleshoot and had new parts out to me overnight. She followed up with a call to help me work through the repair, and called a few days later to check in. Great customer service.

Solid and Stable August 15, 2015
Reviewer: Arielle from Seattle
I'm using the white frame Jarvis with the 60" oak laminate top.  It is well-designed and much more stable than I was expecting at the highest height for me (46.3 according to the readout).  I also opted for the monitor arm which is really nice and a solid value for the features.  Very happy.

Good stuff July 24, 2015
Reviewer: Berto from Denver
I love the desk.  I was lucky enough to be able to reuse my old Ikea desktop on it so I saved some money.  The assembly with my own top was easier than I expected since the frame adjusts to  whatever size of the worktop your using.
There was an issue with the shipping though as the wire management channel arrived cracked.  I was still able to set up everything else and use it while I was sent a new channel.  Worth the $$, especially if you have your own desktop.
Also, the casters are solid and lock firmly so I'd recommend them even if you only have to occasionally move your desk.
