it WAS a great chair, but now I need rubber bushings for underneath (attaches) the knee pad.  Where can I get them?  You guys should post other people who might wish to sell their balans chair for parts.

I've had my kneeling chair since Jan, 1989. It was prescribed by my chiropractor to give me relief from sciatica. I've been using it at my desk for 22 years, now!  I just recommended it to a friend who is having similar sciatic pain. It gives relief within minutes of sitting on it. She was excited about it after trying mine. It's an amazing product!

I've had my HAG Balans chair for about 15 years now and wanted to order replacement pads.  I didn't even know the chair had been discontinued.  I've used it pretty heavily during that time and I've started to wear into the pads.  Apparently, HAG doesn't supply these replacement pads anymore.  Booo.

Ending up getting a Wing Balans March 15, 2011

What the last reviewer DOESN'T say is that the flexing donut bushings for the Hag Balans cost $33.  I love my Hag, but I figured I might as well get a new chair since I've had this one for 18 years!

I bought the Varier Wing Balans and I actually like it BETTER than my old Hag.  Since the frame is made of wood, the sit feels much more flexible and comfortable.  The Hag Balans Vital was more rigid.  I really like the quality and workmanship of the Varier Wing chair - it is obvious from the mechanics and feel of the Wing that Opsvik designed this one too.

I have owned a HAG Balans chair for well over 10 years.  I was quite disappointed to find out they were no longer available.  I ended up buying the replacement rubber bushings from Ergo Depot so my chair is as good as new.   Thanks for the help on my old chair - I still love it!
